NEEDWOOD HOUSE CARE HOME

Community spirit.

A sense of community is a core part of our care, created both within the home and through our local connections.

Area of outstanding beauty Cannock Chase is on our doorstep and offers the perfect place for enjoying some fresh air.

Located in Heath Hayes, Cannock, just a short stroll from lots of local amenities, we encourage and support our residents to enjoy accompanied visits to the local café and shops.
Our local hairdresser comes in and we go on lots of outings on our mini-bus ranging from picnics in the park to day trips to places like the Sealife Centre in Birmingham.

Food Matters

ACTIVITIES

Food matters

Our in-home chef cooks a variety of home cooked, well-balanced meals every day. Food and nutritional intake are an important factor for health, and needs vary depending on age and medical conditions. Our experienced team ensure these needs are met. Food intake is logged and if we need to offer additional intake, we can offer shakes and special drinks.
Due to the person-centred approach to our care, the same applies to our meals. We create food plans for any residents who are diabetic, offer fingers foods for those who no longer use cutlery, support those who cannot or do not eat and for anyone who we are supporting with developing independence this is applied to their meals.
