Needwood House has received an official CQC rating of ‘good’

Following a recent inspection from the CQC, Needwood House has received an official CQC rating of ‘good’.

Needwood House Care Home in Staffordshire was bought from the previous owners in early 2023. Since the new management team took over, the team have worked tirelessly, consulting with long-standing staff members to build on the foundations in place and improve the service for residents.

Rachel Ball, Needwood House manager, commented, “We are delighted to have been rated as Good in the services ‘safe, effective, caring and responsive’ when assessed by the CQC. This rating is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team here at Needwood House. Our number one priority is to provide the very best care for our service users, ensuring they are happy and well looked after. We endeavor to provide the highest level of care and continually look for areas where we can improve.

We have lots of exciting plans for the home over the coming months, from enhanced team training, to bringing in an Activities Coordinator to arrange more activities and outings all tailored to the needs and unique care plans for all of our residents, plans for our gardens and a new games room, we’re all really exciting for the future of the home.”
