Christmas 2023 at Needwood House

Thanks to all the efforts from staff and residents, Needwood House has looked amazing this festive season. Decorated inside and out, the beautiful lights and trees help create a lovely atmosphere throughout the home. The pretty winter wonderland window displays also add a special touch of sparkle.

The wonderful Local Vocals choir visited us at Needwood House, bringing so much joy to residents and staff. Singing Christmas classics, everyone at Needwood House enjoyed joining in.
Our annual Christmas party was a great success, with residents, relatives and staff having a great time celebrating together. The amazing music by Trevor Santini was enjoyed by everyone, with some even getting up on the dance floor.

Rachel Ball, Manager at Needwood House, says, “The Christmas party was great fun, allowing residents, relatives and staff to let their hair down and enjoy catching up.”

Through December we enjoyed lots of Christmas themed activities, enjoyed beautiful carols from the children at Heath Hayes primary school and a performance from the cast of North West Productions Pantomime Puss in Boots.

Our traditional Christmas Day lunch was enjoyed by residents and their loved ones. As always, the food was just delicious; we are very lucky to have such a talented kitchen team and appreciate all their hard work all year through.

Rachel added, “Christmas is such a special time of year and it’s important to offer lots of activities for our residents to get involved in to ensure a sense of togetherness and embrace the spirit of the season.”
